Skating trail rest stop
Designed to reflect the landscapes of Sudbury Ontario with pine trees protruding from the rocky Canadian shield, this wonderful piece was designed and built as a rest stop for Sudbury inhabitants to enjoy along the skating trail that is formed on Lake Sudbury every winter. with convenient benches for skaters to lace up; MAx and his team sourced broken hockey sticks donated by the local arena to create the benches and further ground the design in its northern Canadian setting. the rest stop also features wind barriers that block the harsh westerly winds and form the shape of sudbury’s official logo when seen from the hill above.
