About max Dahinten

Max is a talented Canadian artist raised in the picturesque landscapes of central Ontario who truly excels in the realm of 3-dimensional thinking. He devoted three insightful years to studying architecture at Laurentian University before making the significant move to Halifax, where he eagerly sought to deepen his understanding and skills in sculptural art at NSCAD University. Alongside his academic journey, Max has actively worked in a diverse array of trades, including concrete forming, truss construction, and carpentry, gaining invaluable hands-on experience since he was just 18 years old. These varied experiences have given Max the ability to approach every new project with fresh eyes and a genuine eagerness to learn as much as he can, ensuring that he creates a finished product that he is exceptionally proud to associate his name with. In his projects, Max experiments with a wide range of materials and innovative methods, yet he always finds himself irresistibly drawn back to his true passion: the art of woodworking and the intricate world of sculptural design.
