Specifically designed for Max’s Erosion sculpture, this unique and intricately crafted piece effectively supported the delicate melting clay sculpture on its top shelf, utilizing a metal grate that was seamlessly integrated into the overall structure. The discarded pieces of the Erosion sculpture would then fall through the grate and land on a shelf composed of tightly woven fabric, which would efficiently filter the falling water before it eventually collected in the basin at the bottom. This basin housed the pump that repeated the entire mesmerizing process over and over again, creating a continually evolving work of art.
